John Cornyn is a Dork

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

They say they are for individual freedom in the PRINCIPLES part of this document, but then add a lot of buts...

Pornography – We urge more stringent legislation to prohibit
all pornography including virtual pornography and operation of sexually–oriented businesses.

Individuals are not free to enjoy porn.

Remedies to Activist Judiciary – Further, we urge Congress to withhold Supreme
Court jurisdiction in cases involving abortion, religious freedom, and the Bill of Rights.

Individuals cannot argue their 1st amendment rights in front of the Supreme Court

Puerto Rico – We urge Congress to call for a vote in Puerto Rico to decide between statehood and independence.

No taxation without representation!

Washington D.C. - We strongly oppose making the District of Columbia a state.

Unless you're a stinking Redskins fan!

Flag Desecration – Any form of desecration of the American Flag is an act of disregard for our nation and its people and penalties should be
established for such.

Individuals must put their hand over their hearts during the Pledge of Allegiance.

Texas Sodomy Statutes - We oppose the legalization of sodomy. We demand that Congress exercise its authority granted by the U.S. Constitution
to withhold jurisdiction from the federal courts from cases involving sodomy.

No fucking in the ass.

Age of Consent - We support raising the age of consent for consensual sex to 18 years.

You can kill for your country at 17, but you can't fuck.

Sexual Assault – We urge the Legislature to eliminate from the child sexual assault law the “affirmative defense” when there is less than
36 months of age difference.

Get ready to go to jail you horny 19-21 year olds.

Sex Education – We oppose any sex education other than abstinence until heterosexual marriage.

Honeymoons are going to get really boring.

Theories of Origin – We believe theories of life origins and environmental theories should be taught as scientific theory, not scientific law.

Take that, gravity!

Equality of All Citizens – We deplore all discrimination. We also deplore forced sensitivity training and urge repeal of any mandate requiring it. We
urge immediate repeal of the Hate Crimes Law.

That, my friend, is called a Texas two-step.

Capital Punishment – Properly applied capital punishment is legitimate, is an effective deterrent, and should be swift and unencumbered.

Kill a criminal for Christ.

Government Services – We support privatization of government services when beneficial to the taxpayer.

Inividuals have to pay extra to get the sevices they want.

Tax Deduction for Private and Home school
– We support a federal tax deduction for expenses incurred for all private and home schooling.

Take from the poor, and give to the rich.

Alternative Energy Sources – We strongly support creation of new technologies and markets wherein the U.S.A. can pursue real energy
independence, but we oppose subsidizing alternative fuel production.

Big'Oil, and Big'Oil only, will get welfare.

Workers’ Compensation - We urge the Legislature to resist making Workers’ Compensation mandatory for all Texas employers.

Fuck the working man...

Minimum Wage – We believe the Minimum Wage Law should be repealed.

...Fuck 'em real hard.(just not in the ass)

Foreign Military Bases on American Soil – We urge
Congress to prohibit all foreign or international military bases within the United States.

Iraq - There should be no timetable for pulling out of Iraq.

The Re-Acclimation of Independence - 2008

"...Our Government is instituted among its Civilians, deriving its just powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever Our Government becomes destructive to these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it..."

Stop! Thief!

Not very attractive real estate, for sure, but Big'Oil thinks it's just beautiful. So beautiful they will lie, cheat, steal...even kill, just to put their arms around that which is so captivating to them they would $ell their $oul$.

The first oil contracts for the majors(Exxon,Shell,BP,Chevron) in Iraq are exceptional for the oil industry.

They include a provision that could allow the companies to reap large profits at today’s prices: the ministry and companies are negotiating payment in oil rather than cash.

“These are not actually service contracts,” Ms. Benali said. “They were designed to circumvent the legislative stalemate” and bring Western companies with experience managing large projects into Iraq before the passage of the oil law.

Yep, in typical fascist fashion.

Did you know that a total of 46 companies put in bids to drill the estimated 4 million barrels a day the future holds for Iraq? What? You had your money on Exxon, Shell, BP and Chevron? too.

But the company is clearly aware of the history. In an interview with Newsweek last fall, the former chief executive of Exxon, Lee Raymond, praised Iraq’s potential as an oil-producing country and added that Exxon was in a position to know. “There is an enormous amount of oil in Iraq,” Mr. Raymond said. “We were part of the consortium, the four companies that were there when Saddam Hussein threw us out, and we basically had the whole country.”

If you are still confused as to why we went to war in Iraq, maybe you should re-read the above quote. As an American citizen and 1/300,000,000 part owner of this great nation, I propose a citizens arrest warrant for Big'Oil. For the deaths and maimings of, so far, over 34,000 of our fellow Americans. I propose they be charged and tried for treason. Any Seconds?

Way to spread freedom, Bush. Shorter phashie-dorks: We the executives, of this entire fucking planet(and beyond), shall form a more profitable union to ensure our dominance over the people. If you don't like it, you can eat shit, because we're doing it anyway.

You'd better think again...boy.

Wingnut Wilderness

Such desolation must be excruciating, for you. Nowhere to go, nothing to do. Lost. Dead. All the giggles turned to tears, all the excuses foretold. Must suck to be you, the wingnut. Maybe I should feel sorry for you...but I don't...

We Both Want IT Bad Enough

Fuck infighting. You don't need me, and I surely don't need you. Touché to Liberalism. Our forefathers would not have had it any other way.

But we both want it bad enough. We both want it, don't we? Respect is nothing more than a four way crossing in a small West Texas town, with no stop signs, for sure. But figuring out how to maneuver ain't that difficult. Please.

We don't need each other? Really? Or do we?

It ain't that hard a question...

I don't need your loving arms around me, all I need is to be free.
