It's So Easy An Infantryman Can Do It
I got under the skin of the good people over at Mike's Fascist America Blog. They don't like being called chickenhawks. Mike said he could line up dozens of current military to repudiate my chickenhawk claim, but could only come up with one...Lieutenant REMF(rear echelon mother fucker).
Lt. REMF complained like a little bitch about how you didn't have to be in combat to be a hawk. I called bullshit of course, like any good grunt would. You see, Lt. REMF is an annalist; he thinks he's fucking Jack Ryan. LT. REMF says it's just a few of us that think this way, and that we make the military look bad. Well, you couldn't be more wrong Lt.REMF. All but a few of us are rude, crude and filthy, and we all look good! Watch this candid account from a soldier in Iraq.
You see, when you have to work in the worst of conditions, while hungry and sleepy and bruised, your humor tends to be a little dark. Now throw in people trying to kill you...you get my point?
It got so bad on Mike's blog that he started me on the "three strikes" rule. I currently have one strike left.

- My friend, I don’t complain… I tried to have a civilized debate with you that you need not serve on the front line to avoid being called a chickenhawk (at least not from reason minded individuals). YOU were the one slinging insults at me, you were the one complaining about how the E ranks do so much more for the military. Out of the two of us, one was/is complaining and it isn’t me. Isn’t that one of your things, to be a “good grunt” you bitch and moan about how tough life is? YEAH, it is. You volunteered, you had the choice to do something else. I don’t mind the bitching and moaning everyone has their trials in life, but calling an entire group of people chickenhawks because they were not in your boots… well that is just disingenuous.

- Yes I do. And as I have said I give a huge amount of respect to those on the front. Unlike yourself, you seem to think the military would run just fine without us “REMF’s”, you deny it and say you realize it is a team effort… With your language and attitude I do not believe you do. Should we start insulting those that remain in the infantry, marines, airmen that choose not to go in to the special forces? I bet they might have some stories to put yours to shame.
I do not judge you because I don't know you or what you have done. Yet you see fit to not give me the same courtesy.

I was wondering if you heard about
the soldier who got pub. for attacking Harry Reid recently.
He bragged that his area of Iraq was peaceful-I only read about this
and responded on the Pat Dollard blog. I checked the news immediately to verify his claim.This was about a week ago.
Since his claim at least two successful guerrila attacks in Ramani have been carried out ,killing at least 40 people.
Has he corrected his "errors?"
