Christian Coalition Dumps Leader for Putting Poverty and Global Warming on Agenda
Rev. Joel C. Hunter wanted the Christian Coalition to focus on “living what Jesus would do.” Since that includes helping the poor and being good stewards for the environment, they said hell no and asked him to resign.
And "why" you ask, are they so against these fundamental Christian believes? Because they are “deathly afraid of being labeled a liberal by other Christians, the media, talk radio.”
Apparently, being labeled liberal is worse than going to hell.
Let me explain something to you, "Christian" Coalition, and listen carefully. Throwing your core believes out the window to protect ones image is weak, you cant get any weaker. You are weak pathetic hypocrites. The only way you will get into heaven is to become liberal, like Jesus. But if you want to go to hell then keep siding with the stingy, heartless, weak ass neo-conservatives.
Strong, tough minded individuals could give two shits about their image.

It is one of life's great ironies that these fundamentalist so-called Christians are such great believers in social Darwinism, yet think evolution is a satanic lie. (This thought does not originate with me; I just find it telling)

Smarty, it boggles the mind, doesn't it...
It's all just one big crock of shit! I find that 'fundies' are the most hypocritical of the whole human lot. One of the reasons why I left the 'moral right' 12 years ago. I wasn't there too long, just long enough to see right through them.
