It's OK for Americans to dis the president... but Hugo. It's like black people and the N word.
We give him most of his countries income. He shouldn't bite the hand that feeds him.
Is Hugo on the Republican payroll or what? This is straight out of the Karl Rove handbook! Now we got liberal Democrats taking up for the president right before an election! This should be every Dem's response...
"Mr. Chavez is certainly not helping diplomacy with those remarks, but his abrasive comments don't surprise me at all. What with the divisive, patronizing and down right corrosive comments coming out of the White House these days. I would hope that our counterparts from other countries would help us stop this kind of childish recklessness, but that seems unlikely till we get a change in the White House."
