16 Days

Stephen Rademaker, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for International Security and Nonproliferation, says Iran could produce a nuclear bomb in 16 Days.

On its face this sound like bullshit, and since it's coming from the Bush administration, it smells like bullshit too. Is Bush trying to engage himself in a JFK "Cuban missile crises" kind of standoff with Iran?

I can see Laura now, getting their underground bunker decorated all nice and homely, so her man will be comfortable while he stares the bad Iranians down.

Lord help us.

This is oddly similar to the Gist crisis of 1911 when a boatload of Gist was mistaken for a nuclear umbrella and was confiscated. Naturally, I was opposed to this.

Argh. Just a few days ago, the Bush administration was saying it would be years. And I like how in the bloomberg article that broke this, they essentially contradict that very statement 6 or 7 paragraphs down...

Let's see, should I believe the Bush spokesman or Mohamed El Baradei, head of the AEA? The lying sack, or the guy who was correct about WMD in Iraq and says Iran is years away? Faith or fact? However will I make up my mind?

What fuckers!

Elmo, Brian Van Reet, Sara You’re missing the point. The problem with Imperialism is that,it cannot function without popular support. Remember Vietnam had no oil
and "French" Algeria just didn't have enough oil.
Populous Imperialism Demands that Iraq to be occupied indirectly, with the white men keeping real control. The prowar "progressive" supports these aims as much as
Niall Fergusons crowd. The main difference is that the Prowar "progressives" it only
supports elections so LOOKS Progressive, the more wogs voting the better it looks.
Christopher Hitchens' Harrys place, Nick Cohen, Hillary Rodham Clinton and George packer
basicly all share John Stuart Mill mindset such as Social Liberalism at home, but B52s for Mussies/niggers Abroad.
Don't Underestimate it because right now in the U.S. there is no mainstream polical group calling for withdraw of all troops from iraq, just lots annoying bush bashing.
IN dublin only 600 took part in this years anti-war domo, there were no young poeple
leading it, just leftwing 50 somethings TDs and Senaters.
In the europe the iraq war Generally viewed is a clash between the anglosaxon world
(bush/Blair) and Francophone world (Chirac/Schroeder)even though it is nothing of the sort plus russia has been spreading
"Freedom/liberty" in Chechnya .
In britian 25% of "lablour movement" supports the iraq war, this faction calls its self the
"prowar left" (Harrys place/Nick Cohen) it does so in the loudest possible way on the internet/media.

The hyperlink above should allow us understand this polical mindset, it is a profile

no Offence meant just a tought.

I disagree with the time assessment, but I'm pretty sure Iran wants the bomb. If we are kept from using strategic attacks against Iran (when the time comes), I sure as hell hope Israel does it for us.

Cabe, you would be safe betting on Israel holding down the fort, but they won't stop Bush from fucking things up. Catch 22 that is...

632C5R09OW8, It would be a stout feet to offend any rascal that hangs around here. Your opinion is highly appreciated.
