Band of the Week: The Ape Shits
What can I say, punk rules in Austin these days. The Ape Shits say, with the utmost respect...FUCK YOU RITA! "Crush the Eye" would be a cool title for a punk song, no?
Anyway, show the band some love and have a listen to Fuck the Pigs, Lazy 3ft, Year of the Monkey and Go juice at Ape Shits Headquarters.
Or better yet, see the Ape Shits live tomorrow in Denton,TX at Rubber Gloves.

Elmo! If the Apeshits ever do California (I assume like most real bands they tour in a hobbling van on a frayed shoestring budget as their day jobs allow), they need to play Duffy's in Chico and Kimo's in SF. If they did come, tho' they'd probably just do LA...Ah well...
Anyway, Rita's coming and she's pissed, so you and loved ones should keep your heads down. Take care and good luck!
P.S. A good way to get rid of that spam (see above) is to go to your dashboard, and in settings, click on the comments tab, and enable the word verification thingie. Worked for me!
